CGI has the skills and experience to ensure successful turn-key development project throughout Queensland. CGI have played key roles in major development projects including:
 

• Commercial advisor on the Accelerated Road Rehabilitation Program in central Queensland on the Dawson and Leichhardt Highways. This innovative contract accelerated the rehabilitation of 71km of the Dawson Highway and 12km on the Leichhardt Highway and the replacement of 11 timber bridges totalling over $90 million. The final savings on the original contract is expected to be in the order of 10-12%.

• Commercial advisor on the Accelerated Road Rehabilitation Program in southern Queensland on strategic routes between Warwick throughout the Darling Downs and South Burnett to Bundaberg. This second innovative contract model accelerated the replacement of 31 timber bridges totalling $126 million.

• Independent Expert and Estimator on the construction of the Townsville Port Access Road including the Stuart Bypass totalling $190 million. In this role, CGI are providing Main Roads with the confidence and skills to deliver this highly sensitive project on budget and within tight timeframes.

• Commercial advisor and project manager for the development of the target cost for the replacement of Forgan Bridge in Mackay totalling $128 million. CGI provided the necessary skills and know-how for the development of the risk-adjusted price for the ECI contract and the establishment of the consortium partners.
