Michael has 20 years experience in the construction and management of infrastructure projects. Michael has been engaged as Project Manager for both private and public sector organisations.

His buy-side experience ranges from bidding of these complex projects through to management of successful project delivery. Michael’s understanding of the key drivers of Government has provided success to his clients by developing bid strategies for both traditional and competitive collaborative procurement processes.

On the sell-side Michael led the government project team for the high profile Port of Brisbane Motorway project and has advised government agencies on the development of business cases and project procurement for key infrastructure projects. Michael’s intimate knowledge of contemporary procurement methods has put CGI at the forefront of achieving ‘Whole of Life’ value for money through competitive procurement.

It is through the provision of this advice that has enabled his clients to not only achieve but demonstrate delivering value for money outcomes.

Michael has been successful in providing commercial advice, through application of his private sector experience in the government arena. To meet the increasing needs of infrastructure providers, Michael has positioned and now heads a boutique transaction advisory team at CGI Consulting.
